Premarital Counseling & Weddings
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! If you are looking to invest in developing a strong foundation for a lasting marriage through premarital counseling we are excited to celebrate with you on your wedding day.

You do not have to be a member of Freedom Church to go through our premarital process or to have one of our pastors officiate your wedding.

If you are interested in having a Freedom Church pastor officiate your wedding, premarital counseling is required prior to the wedding. If the premarital counseling is completed outside of Freedom, counseling must be scripture-based, and we will need documentation of completion. This documentation should include the curriculum studied, a minimum of 6 hours completed and who facilitated your process on a form from your premarital counselors directly emailed to info@freedomwilliston.com. In addition, we recommend a minimum of a $350 honorarium for a Freedom Church pastor who officiates your wedding and should be given on the day of the wedding.

Yes. The cost is $80 per couple. This covers the online assessment and the materials used for premarital counseling.

Marriage Groups
Marriage is a gift from God and we want you to discover God’s great plan for your marriage. We also know there are no quick fixes in parenting. Parenting takes time, attention, and love. In marriage and family (parenting) groups, we will focus on God’s design for couples and families, as well as learn with other like-minded couples on this same journey.
Interested in leading a marriage group?
If you are a group leader and interested in more training in dealing with couples, contact us for more information on how you can obtain training and grow as a marriage leader. If you are interested in becoming a small group leader for the first time, you must complete the Formation Pathway and attend Group Leadership Training.
