WEEKEND EXPERIENCE

Our services have an authentic, down-to-earth feel that invites you to participate at whatever level you feel comfortable. The total length is a little over an hour and includes a time of worship followed by a Bible-based message from our Lead Pastor, Jason Wenaas, that is easy to understand and apply to our everyday lives.

FREEDOM KIDS

In Freedom Kids, we believe your kids don’t have to wait to be great. They can be a great kid! These environments for 12-weeks through 5th grade are a safe and fun way for kids to grow in their relationship with God and others.

FREEDOM STUDENTS

At Freedom, we believe in raising up the next generation to become all God has created them to be. Our youth ministry provides age-appropriate environments for 6th-12th grade where students can encounter God and connect with others. Our heart is to see our youth ministry meet Jesus, grow in their faith, and influence the culture and community around them.

    LEAD PASTOR

    Pastor Jason has years of ministry experience and a deep passion for the local church. He moved to Williston in 2020 and, with a small team and a big vision, planted Freedom Church in 2021.

  • We're currently located in the Badlands Town Center, just east of Walmart on 42nd St W, next door to Young Bucks.

  • Our parking lot is directly in front of the entrances to our main building and kids building.

  • We currently gather at 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM, and 11:30 AM on Sundays.

    At our new location beginning in March, we will gather Sundays at 9:00 AM & 11:00 AM.

  • At Freedom, we have a passion for Children's Ministry. We consider it an honor to encourage and equip parents to invest in the next generation. Our Children's Ministry, called Freedom Kids, is a safe and fun environment for kids to grow in their relationship with God and others.

  • Our hope is to reach people and connect them with God and one another. We often hear we’re one of the friendliest churches people have experienced. Our services have an authentic, down-to-earth feel that invites you to participate at whatever level you feel comfortable. The total length is a little over an hour. Afterward, you can grab a cup of free coffee, connect with others, or meet our greeters and staff..

  • Pastor Jason communicates with a warm, humorous, and personal style. Each weekend you'll find his messages are Bible-based, offering practical life guidance rich in wisdom yet easy to understand. Whether you have been following Christ for some time or are curious about what a relationship with God looks like, you’ll feel as if Pastor Jason is talking to you right in your own living room.

  • Heartfelt worship is led by our worship team. Our goal is to encounter God in an authentic way in our time together.

  • Whatever you normally wear. We are more concerned with meeting you than with what you wear. At Freedom, you'll see nearly every style of clothing, from casual to business professional.
